Mid Devon District Council has received a number of complaints from Willand residents with respect to the public litter bins, which are being used to dispose of household waste, either inside of the bin or alongside the bins.

Willand Community Composting Scheme is run by a small and friendly group of volunteers. Their mission is to protect the natural environment by reducing waste to landfill by composting; proceeds from the sale of compost can support local causes.
