An outline planning application has been received by Mid Devon District Council for 170 dwellings off the B3181 between Willand and Waterloo Cross, near Muxbeare Lane, bordering Willand Parish. Given its proximity to Willand further pressure would be put on facilities and infrastructure in the village despite the proposed development being in Halberton Parish. This application is in addition to the recent application submitted for 130 dwellings at the other end of Willand The Parish Council will be discussing the application at the Full Council meeting on Thursday 11th December.
